Cold and wet, oh how I've missed you...not!

So I'd say summer is well and truly over now, the last couple of days have been truly dire in case you hadn't noticed! Sorry to sneer!

I've really got nothing to complain about of course, my days of getting up in the morning to scrape the ice from my car, or driving to and from work in the dark are well and truly over.

As ever the garden is getting a good drink, but it'll be do wet to get the mower out if it carries on like this. I think I might start having to turn my attention towards my garage door project again. If I'm honest I've been putting it off, as it won't be the most straightforward of tasks, what with all the dust that's created and what not.

Still, first things first I need to invest in some new tools, I'm a retired man, it's my right! I need a new 'workmate' that's for sure. I bought my first one about 30 years ago, and with all credit to me I appear to have worn it out!
